Notice of Construction

The Manatee County Public Works Department is implementing a wastewater service improvement project to install a 20-inch force main pipe along Cortez Road West. The project is located on Cortez Road West between 119th Street West and 87th Street Court within Manatee County right-of-way. Construction includes extending the 20-inch diameter pipe approximately 10,000 linear feet to connect Master Lift Station No. 5 to Master Lift Station No. 1-M. The new force main will add capacity and relieve excess demand on the existing 24-inch gravity main during periods of heavy rainfall and higher system flows.
